Its 35mm lens diameter projects a wide, solid beam of light valuable in pitch black darkness. The compact and lightweight device is equipped with a weaver rail mount able to fit all Pulsar Digisight designs. The X850 IR Flashlight features a variable beam control, from spot to flood, and smooth brightness control. Powered by AA batteries, it does not drain the internal power storage of a night vision device.
